Having recently been established, the partnership wanted to run an away-day to work on developing and agreeing a set of shared value, behavioural norms and prioritised activities. The group was very much as the “storming” stage of team development, requiring an approach that allowed open and honest sharing of views whilst ensuring the agenda kept on track.

Our Approach:

• Consultative Design: We worked closely with the partnership Chair as well as key stakeholders to ensure the day delivered on specific outcomes whilst allowing enough time and flexibility to hear everyone’s voice.
• Facilitated Away-Day: Conducted a full-day session exploring the shared mission, principals of working and prioritised activities for the partnership to deliver.

The Result:

The Away-Day was successful in bringing everyone together and aligning around a common mission statement and programme of future activities. Maine Associates was retained to run further sessions with the partnership, having established a trusted working relationship with the group.

Based in a new £1.8 million co-working space, we worked closely with the commercial owner and operator of the building to understand its unique culture and purpose to ensure that we developed solutions that were aligned and authentic.

Our Approach:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Consulted widely with community members and ecosystem partners to inform the programme design.
• Bespoke Event Programme: Developed and delivered a range of facilitated events, from roundtables and lightning talks, to peer learning opportunities and leadership forums.
• Network Development: In addition to activating the physical space, we partnered with our client to launch a digital network , further extending engagement into the wider community.

The Result:

Through a sustained and comprehensive offering of development events and collaboration opportunities, our client and its partners achieved its goal of building a thriving community, as well as creating an expanding network to drive future value and economic impact.

Our Approach:

• Cohort Recruitment: successfully curated five cohorts, each comprised of up to 12 enterprise leaders
• Online Sessions: delivered entirely on Zoom and facilitated using action-learning principals to encourage peer-support and collaboration among participants.
• Coaching Sessions: beyond the group workshops, we provided one-to-one coaching to address individual leadership challenges, ensuring a tailored and impactful learning experience.

The Result:

Tangible outcomes reported by network participants were both inspiring and transformative.

Many expressed the discovery of new opportunities for strategic partnerships, the creation and strengthening of valuable relationships, and an enhanced ability to navigate challenges, collectively contributing to increased business resilience.
